The former Waterbury Inn, with a new roof, survives today as the Super 8 off Scott Road. Harten House, which proclaimed itself to be “Waterbury’s finest restaurant,” is today’s Ninos. We can only wonder at the magic that started in the daiquiri-scented ambiance of Harten House’s cleverly named Nightcap Lounge.
